Whimsical Snaggle-Toothed Wood Spirit

This Whimsical Snaggle-Toothed Wood Spirit was carved by me using Cottonwood Bark.  It was collected from the Mississippi River in Missouri. Our Cottonwood bark is selectively collected from piles of driftwood brought in from the river’s mighty current. It is a very stable but softwood that will last for many years if properly cared for.

This piece has a matte finish polyurethane coating that provides protection and brings out the beautiful natural, brown bark color. The face and hair is surrounded by the natural, grey-colored, rough outer bark.
It is a hand-carved, natural beauty that is sure to spark conversations whenever, wherever it is seen for years to come.

The approximate size of this wood spirit is: 11.5″ tall x 3.25″ wide x 1.5″ thick

It is signed on the back by the artist, that’s me, and has a small hole carefully carved into the back for easy wall hanging.
